Candlewood Branch members took an overnight field trip to Sea World, where they enjoyed special seating for the shows and behind the scenes presentations. Candlewood Branch members bed down in the Shark and Coral Reef area of Sea World during their overnight stay. Club members learn all about “Minding Your Manners” at an etiquette dinner hosted at St. Philip’s college in June. Joining the kids were members of the Silver Stars WNBA team and Dr. Adena Williams Loston, President of St. Philips College (far right). Candlewood Branch members take a scuba diving lesson at Dive World, thanks to the generosity of Dr. George and Kym Rapier. After a scuba diving lesson at Dive World, kids get to enjoy more swimming at the home of Dr. George and Kym Rapier. Gotcha! Kym Rapier douses a Club member with whipped cream at the pool party hosted at the Rapiers’ home. FUN is the word of the day at the pool party hosted by Dr. George and Kym Rapier at their home for BGCSA members. Oww! A blood pressure cuff can squeeze tight, as a one of the Candlewood teens learns during a field trip to one of the area Wellmed locations to learn about routine health screenings.
