Dr. Adena Williams Loston, president of St. Philips College (far right), visits with Eastside Branch staff and kids and members of the Silver Stars WNBA players during an etiquette class at the College on June 10. Members of the San Antonio Area Foundation African American Chapter and committee members from Renaissance with the Stars visit the Club at an event kicking off their annual fundraiser to benefit local community organizations on July 15. The Eastside Branch was the first community organization to receive funds from the African American Community Chapter. Members of the graduate chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity visited the Club on June 5. They shared information and tips for our male Club members on etiquette, grooming, resumes, job applications & scholarship opportunities.
