BUILDING THE FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio, our staff give youth the foundation for a life outside of the clubs. With program and activities targeted towards academic support, enrichment opportunities, and resources that inspire a love of learning. Through homework assistance, tutoring, STEM activities, and college and career readiness programming, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio helps young people build the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Page Turners

Our Page Turners program provides small group learning sessions to 1st-3rd graders in need of extra assistance with their reading skills. This helps them to get on – and stay at – grade reading level.

Sylvan Tutoring

Additional reading & math tutoring services provided by Sylvan Learning© to Club members based on their current metrics.

Power Hour

Making Minutes Count provides Club professionals with the strategies, activities, resources and information to create an engaging homework help and educational activities that encourages Club members of every age to become self-directed learners.

Diplomas 2 Degrees

Diplomas2Degrees (d2D), a college readiness program, provides a range of services to guide Club members as they work toward high school graduation and prepare for post-secondary education and career success.

Career Launch

CareerLaunch prepares young adults for the world of careers and work. Through CareerLaunch, Club young adults 13-18 years old embark on a journey to explore possible vocations, make sound educational decisions and find success in the world of work.

Project Learn

Project Learn reinforces the academic enrichment and school engagement of young people during the time they spend at the Club.
