About Scholarships
Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio (BGCSA) values the importance of education in the lives of the youth we serve. We celebrate their academic success and the importance of a college education with career goals for the future.
Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio is proud to offer scholarships to graduation high school senior and full-time undergraduate students. These scholarships are designed to assist BGCSA members undertake academic study and/or vocational training at an accredited university, college, community college, or trade school. These scholarships are available to BGCSA alumni through funds raised at the Annual Leadership for Education Wine Tasting.

Eligibility
Recipients must meet all of these requirements to be eligible for the scholarship award:
- Regular membership with Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio for at least two years;
- Current enrollment as a high school senior or full-time undergraduate student;
- Graduating senior GPA of 80 or higher;
- Full-time undergraduate student GPA of 2.5 or higher;
- Enrollment full-time at an accredited U.S. or Canadian college/university.

- Financial Statement Form
- Official Transcripts
- 250-word essay describing why you deserve this scholarship, your plans for higher education, and how this scholarship will help you become a successful student.
- Two (2) Recommendation Forms; no more than one (1) personal and at least one (1) professional – from an employer, school faculty, and/or Club staff.
- Fall semester course schedule showing full-time status (12 hours or more per term). This is due before disbursement if not available at time of submission.
- All recipients are required to submit a transcript report twice a year. These reports must be received by April (official copy) and December (unofficial copy) respectively. The reports must include the student’s semester or final grades and student ID number.
- Returning Student Application Form
- Financial Statement Form
- Official Transcripts
- Fall semester course schedule showing full-time status (12 hours or more per term). This is due before disbursement if not available at time of submission.
