When I was searching for a new board position six years ago, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio was at the top of my list because I had fond memories of being a camp counselor for a Club when I was in high school.
When I walked into Calderon for the first time there was just something special about the sounds and sights of the Club that took me right back to how I felt as a camp counselor. I truly believe that the programs provided to children at the Boys & Girls Clubs can’t be matched, and that is why I serve.
