Buffalo Wild Wings® GO SET TO OPEN TWO LOCATIONS IN SAN ANTONIO
The new brand concept is designed specifically for takeout and delivery orders and offers great deals all day every day
SAN ANTONIO (Febuary, 2021) – Buffalo Wild Wings GO will open two locations in the San Antonio area this month, with the first location GO Culebra (1134 Culebra Road) set to open next Friday, Feb. 19. The second GO Potranco (10538 Potranco Road) will open its doors in the coming weeks.
GO is a new takeout and delivery-focused model for Buffalo Wild Wings designed to offer the brand’s award-winning chicken wings and 26 signature sauces and seasoning options, plus a few other fan favorites. Each location will bring 25 full-time and part-time jobs to the community.
“I am thrilled to introduce two new Buffalo Wild Wings GO models in San Antonio,” said Lyle Tick, President, Buffalo Wild Wings. “Our takeout and delivery business grew significantly in 2020 as guests across America enjoyed our award-winning wings, sauces and other menu items at home. With great deals every day of the week on wings and bundles at GO, customers have one more way to enjoy our wings for any occasion, from game day lunch to family dinner.”
As part of Grand Opening Celebrations, the Buffalo Wild Wings Foundation will present two grants to local nonprofits – Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio and Fisher House – to help families and kids grow.
“The Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio has been a longtime recipient of grant funds and support from our local Buffalo Wild Wings team,” said Ada Saenz, Chief Operating Officer for The Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio. “We’re grateful for their continued support, including today’s $5,000 grant to support our programming to ensure kids have a safe place to grow and thrive. We look forward to partnering with the new GO team on many more initiatives to come.”
“Thank you to the Buffalo Wild Wings Foundation for recognizing the important and critical work the JBSA AFH at Brooke Army Medical Center Fisher House is doing to support military families in San Antonio,” said Inge Godfrey, Manager of Fisher House. “This grant will support our programming and infrastructure to support more kids and families in need.”
Each Buffalo Wild Wings GO restaurant will feature a walk-up counter, digital menu boards, and limited seating. These two locations will offer traditional and boneless wings, hand-breaded tenders, chicken sandwiches, burgers, sides, and all 26 Buffalo Wild Wings sauces and dry rubs.
Unique to the Buffalo Wild Wings GO format, guests who order ahead will be able to pick up their meal from heated takeout lockers, providing a contactless, hassle-free experience and ensuring quality and freshness.
Both locations will be open 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m. – midnight Friday-Saturday. For more information or to place a Buffalo Wild Wings GO order, please visit www.buffalowildwings.com/en/bww-go.
