IN HONOR OF PRESIDENT'S DAY
Last fall, Nicole Vargas, a member of our Candlewood Branch, decided to write a letter to the President of the United States.
“I thought a nice, meaningful letter would help him through hard times. Plus, I wanted him to know that I really like him being President,” Nicole said. “He is inspiring and I really wanted him to know that.”
Nicole never dreamed that the President would write her back, but he did! And he included some pictures from the White House.
His message to Nicole: “Always remember that nothing is beyond your reach as long as you are willing to dream big and work hard.”
