The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio is only able to give so much to our kids with donations from our wonderful community. If you are wanting to help support our Clubs and members, there are multiple opportunities for you to help us grow!
Individual gifts are gifts from the heart and crucial for nonprofit success. They are invaluable statements of support and belief in an agency’s mission. When you contribute to Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio – whether one-time, annually, or monthly as a Club Champion – you communicate your support to our work and desire to build Great Futures for San Antonio’s most vulnerable youth.
Here are several tax-smart ways to give:
Make a gift today and create immediate impact. Your contribution helps sustain high-quality programs for youth, and it may qualify for an income tax deduction.
Donate appreciated stock or securities.
Gifts of stock that you’ve owned for more than one year can offer double benefits: you may receive a federal income tax deduction and avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciated value.
Give through a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF). Contribute to a new or existing DAF to secure a tax deduction now while taking your time to recommend grants to the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio in the future.
Make a gift from your IRA. If you are 70½ or older, you can donate up to $100,000 directly from your IRA to BGCSA. These qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) may satisfy part or all of your required minimum distribution and are not counted as taxable income.
