Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio (BGCSA) will be hosting their fourth annual flag football tournament for over 100 junior high and high school aged members. The tournament is the accumulation of the ALL STARS flag football league held throughout the fall semester.

The ALL STARS flag football program is funded by Buffalo Wild Wings with a $4,000 grant. Buffalo Wild Wings is committed to helping build communities where all kids can thrive, compete and belong to a team. The grant provides team jerseys, football equipment and training programs for coaches and volunteers.

One of BGCSA’s priority outcomes is Healthy Lifestyles. Physical activity is an important component of building self-confidence, promoting community, fostering peer-to-peer engagement and reducing risky behavior. Participation in the flag football tournament helps to promote physical fitness and good sportsmanship for San Antonio’s youth.
